We have been experiences some issue with our customer support email since 25th July 2017. If you havent received a reply to a message youve sent, please contact us again. Some of the replies weve sent have not reached the recipients. We apologize for the inconvenience.

New terms and conditions

Network maintenance

 

Our service provider is doing maintenence work of the core network on 26th of June between 23:00-06:00 EEST. During the maintenance work the internet connectivity may be unavailable for short periods of time. The purpose of the maintenance work is to increase information security on the network. We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause.

Network maintenance

 

We are doing network maintenance on the data center on Thursday 23.4. starting at 23.00. Maintenance is estimated to last several hours. During the maintenance we will update old network equipment and take newer, more powerful equipment in to use.

After the changes we have backbone for the network which is much more powerful and reliable. Due to the maintenance there are some outages on all of our services.

We are very sorry for the inconvenience which is caused by this maintenance. If you have any questions regarding the maintenance, please dont hesitate to contact our customer service.

Maintenance

 

We need to perform maintenance for some of our VPS servers due to hardware failure. This maintenance will be performed on Friday 10th of October, 2014 beginning at 23.00. If the maintenance can’t be done at that time, next possible moment for maintenance is on Saturday 11th of October, 2014 beginning at 23.00. Maintenance is intended to run on the first mentioned time.

This hardware failure I mentioned hasn’t affected on the other servers which are on our system. Maintenance is estimated to take an hour if everything works on the first time. During the maintenance all the servers in this system are being shut down.

Login required when accessing WordPress and Joomla

 

A password protection has been setup to protect Joomla! and WordPress control panels from brute force break-in attempts. The arrangement has been setup to protect our customers and to prevent unnecessary server load.

Heres the login information needed to access Joomla! and WordPress control panels:

Username: shellit

Password: wplogin

Nameservers of .fi domains

 

Ficora has incorrectly sent notifications about non-functional nameserver to holders of .fi domains. Messages were sent due to an error in their automatic checking system. In reality, the nameservers are functioning properly and there is no need to worry about the messages.

New database server

 

We have now taken into use a new, faster MySQL database server. The new server has performance a lot better than the old one had which can be seen as faster page loads and as faster database operations.

Vacation notifier

 

Vacation notifier is now available for email users. You can enable or disable the automatic response feature and set the response message at www.shellit.org/posti.

Contact information

 

It is very important to keep your customer information up-to-date. Without correct information we cannot send you invoices or contact you in case we have to. You can update your customer information from the control panel.
